The Summit Cheese Shoppe is an artisanal cheese and sandwich shop located in downtown Summit, NJ.

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

Daily Responsibilities:

• Providing knowledgeable cut-to-order cheese and charcuterie service
• Unloading and receiving deliveries of cheese and specialty food
• Organizing and maintaining meticulously clean cases and countertops
• Maintaining the highest level of food safety and sanitation
• Providing above and beyond excellent customer service
• Assisting Manager with cheese-related product ordering

Requirements:

• Available weekends (Fri-Sun).
• Part-Time Position (18-22 hrs/week)
• 1+ years retail experience
• A positive attitude and enthusiasm for providing excellent customer service
• A diligent approach to safety and sanitation.
• A team player with a willingness to jump in and help with all tasks
• A self-starter and hard worker. Working knowledge of specialty cheese and meat OR a willingness to learn
• Ability to spend 6-8+ hours standing

Compensation Details:

• Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour pending experience

Schedule:

• Days: Wednesday-Sunday
• Must be Available: Weekends & Some Holidays
