Canyon Meadows Ranch is a 3rd generation (going on 4th) cattle ranch. For the past 17 years we have been selling our natural, grass fed beef directly at the Farmer's Markets. We are located in northeastern Utah with our farmer's markets being on the Wasatch Front.

Canyon Meadows Ranch is looking for a Farmer’s Market booth manager in Salt Lake City.  

The position starts in August and would go throughout the winter and spring. 

Opportunity to continue work into the next market season is a possibility. 

Farmer’s Market Sales Representative will be responsible for attending farmer’s markets each Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday to sell CMR grass fed beef, restock & prepare for each market ahead of time and maintain cleanliness of the FM vehicle and equipment.

This could morph into a full time job including a couple days of work on the ranch each week. 

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license in good standing. Regular lifting of 50 pound boxes will be necessary for inventory management. The work schedule will correspond with market schedules. Markets are Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. The markets are fun to attend and the interactions with our customers is very enjoyable. It’s a great work environment!

Canyon Meadows Ranch has been selling its homegrown, natural grass-fed beef at farmer’s markets for over 17 years. We follow sustainable ranching methods and low-stress livestock handling.

$15/hour base wage offered plus commission and meat allowance.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
