POSITION OVERVIEW:

Our growth and expansion have created an outstanding opportunity for a Sales Manager in the Northeastern US region.  Working directly with the founder and president of the company, you will develop sustainable, profitable sales to targeted accounts in support of the company’s strategic business objectives, as well as maintain and develop relationships with customers and prospects. 

Working remotely, you will have regular interaction with internal company contacts, as well as external communication with Customers, Brokers and Industry Associations.  The position requires the competency to develop an external network within the grocery retail community to deliver agreed upon objectives.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Meet with current customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of the company’s relationship with them

·         Pursue new business by presenting our products and program to targeted retail account chains

·         Training, supervision and motivation of assigned broker network focusing specifically on product knowledge and company sales objectives.

·         Work with broker(s) / merchandiser(s) to develop field sales action plans to drive optimal results in retail stores

·         Monitor orders and meet customer reporting requirements through the use of vendor portals and third-party sales and OMS tools

·         Develop and review long- and short-term sales strategies and establish sales goals by projecting expected sales volume by account

·         Facilitate the company’s participation in industry events and regional trade shows

·         Recommend product enhancement to improve the sales potential and customer satisfaction

Compensation

this position is: salaried, $50,000 - $75,000
