FrontLine Farming (FLF) is a nonprofit food and farmer advocacy organization focusing on food growing, education, sovereignty and justice. We grow high quality, organic food which supports fair wages for our farmers and is distributed through CSA shares, sliding scale sales at farm stands and donations to a variety of non-profit partners. The mission of FLF is land based in support of our farmers growing food with a focus on creating greater equity across our food system on the Front Range of Colorado. We specifically seek to support and create greater leadership and access for women and people of color in our food systems. We achieve these goals through growing food, listening, educating, honoring land and ancestors, policy initiatives, and direct action.
Job description
The CSA and Markets Coordinator will coordinate all aspects of CSA program management including setting farmers up for success, ensuring communication with delivery and add on services, sending out weekly CSA emails and responding to customer questions. This role is also responsible for individual market engagement and ensuring FLF products and mission are represented in public spaces. This space and opportunity is geared toward Black, Indigenous, People of Color and womxn.
Other Considerations: This job is listed as a Seasonal position ending after the last farm day at the end of October. Considerations for full time, year round expansion of position will be made at the end of August. Continued employment at FrontLine will depend on enthusiasm, work ethic and funding availability. Job description will include expanded responsibilities which could include CSA sales and marketing, event coordination, product development and fall or winter markets.
Compensation
this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
