Internship description

About the role

We are seeking a Social Media Content Creator to help launch and grow the social media presence of our specialty food brand, Mitica®. Known for our curated collection of cheese, nuts, crackers, chocolate, dried fruit, charcuterie, and more, Mitica® is beloved by food lovers across the country. As our Social Media Content Creator, you’ll play a key role in shaping the creative voice and visual storytelling of a growing national brand across Instagram and TikTok. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager to bring our content calendar to life by scripting, filming, and editing lifestyle content such as recipes, pairings, behind-the-scenes looks, and educational videos.

This is a great opportunity for a culinary enthusiast and social media-savvy creator to gain hands-on experience in the specialty food industry, receive direct mentorship, and build a portfolio of impactful content.

**This role will have expected travel to our product studio in Secaucus, NJ weekly.**

What impact you can create at Forever Cheese

• Produce weekly short-form videos and lifestyle image deliverables (you won’t be required to appear on camera)
• Script, film, and edit engaging content for Instagram and TikTok
• Collaborate with Marketing Manager to execute our social media content calendar
• Write captions and incorporate relevant hashtags and platform trends
• Ensure all content aligns with our brand guidelines and visual standards
• Stay current on social media trends and integrate them into content when appropriate
• Brainstorm creative content ideas with the Marketing team 

What you will bring to this role

• 1+ years of experience in content creation, video production, and editing for a personal business or brand account
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, video production, communications, digital media, branding, or a related field
• Strong visual storytelling skills and a keen eye for aesthetics
• Passion for social media and an understanding of what drives engagement on Instagram and TikTok
• Familiarity with platform trends, tools, and best practices
• Creative, adaptable, self-motivated, and highly organized
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, maintaining a consistent brand voice across platforms and different types of content
• Excited by the intersection of food, entertainment, and education
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Hours

• Part time, 24 hours per week ($20/hour)
• Hours are flexible and based on deliverables, with weekly check-ins to ensure alignment

Duration 

12 weeks (June 2 - August 15, 2025)

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
