Our Mission is to help farmers and wholesalers throughout New Jersey share their surplus with those in need.  We glean produce during harvest and also pickup from wholesalers to distribute the fresh produce to area Food Banks and Community Groups .

 

 

 

 

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Drive produce from farms across the state of NJ to food pantries, food banks, and distribution sites.

Conduct pre-trip inspections on trucks to ensure they are fit to drive safe and legally.

Load and unload produce from trucks using a forklift.

Operate pallet jacks and lift gates to move produce off trucks.

General maintenance of the facility and grounds.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Must possess a valid driver’s license (CDL not required) with proven track record of operating a vehicle safely

Successfully fulfill the requirements for the DOT physical evaluation.

Experience driving 22 foot box trucks.

Have the ability to lift 50+ pounds.

 

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
