Become a part of the opening Culinary Team at The Six Bells Hotel and experience the excitement of opening a much anticipated restaurant within a small, unique, and creative hotel. This is a great opportunity for any cook looking to advance their career and gain more experience.
As a cook on the opening kitchen team, you will work within a close knit team to execute the vision of the restaurant with a menu rooted in early-American and traditional country cookery.
Ideal candidates will be passionate about seasonal food, enjoy working collaboratively, and take pride in delivering consistent, high-quality dishes.
This is a full-time or part-time hourly position with room for growth as we build our team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Prep & Service: Execute prep and line work according to daily kitchen needs and station assignments
- Support dinner service (à la carte) and weekend brunch (family-style) with precision and consistency
- Assist with light prep for daily breakfast offerings; FOH team handles breakfast setup
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of station and shared kitchen spaces
- Teamwork & Kitchen Culture: Work closely with the sous chef and fellow cooks to ensure smooth service
- Contribute to a respectful and efficient kitchen environment
- Be receptive to feedback and eager to grow within a collaborative team
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Execute dishes to spec and help uphold quality control across the line
- Treat ingredients with care and attention, honoring our local sourcing ethos
The Ideal Candidate will:
- Have 1+ year of kitchen experience in a professional or high-volume setting
- Foundation of solid knife skills and basic prep/cooking techniques
- A positive attitude and strong sense of accountability
- Enthusiasm for working in a new, evolving kitchen

Compensation
this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
