Job description
The Farm Administrator will support Dig Deep Farms operations by identifying the agriculture-based business development needs, financial management, grant opportunities and resources, assist with strategic planning and generating reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually), ensure Dig Deep Farms and staff are in compliance with relevant certifications, licenses and records, and facilitate and coordinate farm programmatic data collection (organizing and storing efficiently). Additionally, the Farm Administrator will develop key strategies that establish and promote Black Ag Tech/Dig Deep Farms programming and projects (e.g. Farmer Incubator, Volunteer Recruitment, Produce/Product Sales, Farm Internships, Farm Tours, etc.). The Farm Administrator will work to create and emphasize opportunities to support the inclusion of Black, BIPOC, new and disadvantaged farmers. This position will be supervised by Dig Deep Farms’ Farm Directors, and work closely with Dig Deep Farms’ Farm Managers, farm staff, suppliers, and customers.
Compensation
this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
