Job description

We’re on a mission to help busy parents cook healthy meals — without the stress. We’re looking for a freelance video creator to bring our recipes to life across social media and our app. If you love telling stories through food, have a knack for food trends and styling, and know how to create scroll-stopping recipe content, we’d love to hear from you.

A day in the life...

Monday: You’ll meet with our recipe team to run through the latest recipe collections. Together we’ll put these into a filming plan for the week. Once the ingredients have been bought, you’ll set up your home studio or kitchen for filming.

Tuesday: Typically you’ll cook and film the recipe steps along with the hero shots of the finished meals.

Wednesday: Record short-form talking-head videos to introduce meal plans, tell stories, and inspire confidence. Once filming wraps, you’ll organize the footage for the editor and review the final output.

Your role will include:

• Plan and film recipe videos for use on our app, YouTube, and other social media channels.
• Tell compelling, relatable, and visually appealing stories through step-by-step cooking videos.
• Work closely with the content team and video editor to develop and execute new ideas.

Your experience

• You’ve created engaging recipe videos for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube.
• You know how to make food look good on camera — and you love the process.
• You’re comfortable both behind the camera and in front of it.

About you

• You’re based in the US.
• You're curious and never want to stop learning. When it comes to food and video you’re always experimenting with new food trends, styles and techniques.
• You know how to grab attention and keep it — with stories, visuals, and great pacing.
• If something isn’t working, you want to change it. You never say “I’m not sure - that’s just always how we’ve done it.”
• You understand the chaos of family life and still care deeply about putting healthy meals on the table. You want to help others overcome that challenge.
• You love telling stories in-front of the camera.
• You communicate clearly, meet deadlines, and thrive in small teams with high trust and autonomy.
