As our Lab Manager, you'll play a foundational role in building and managing a key part of our operation—from extraction to bottling and beyond.

Position Overview:
We’re looking for a responsible, detail-oriented Lab Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our medicinal mushroom extraction lab. This is a full-time, salaried position with hands-on, onsite training provided. Ideal candidates will bring critical thinking skills, great communication, strong organizational abilities, and a genuine interest in natural wellness. Laboratory, kitchen or production experience is a major plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all laboratory processes related to mushroom extraction and product manufacturing
• Learn and operate specialized lab equipment, including ultrasonic extraction systems, Soxhlet extractors, rotary evaporators, vacuum ovens, and freeze dryers
• Assist with harvesting of cultivated medicinal mushrooms
• Oversee production workflows, including supply procurement, product bottling, and inventory control
• Manage production schedules to ensure efficiency and timely fulfillment
• Track inventory levels and project future production needs
• Maintain cost-effective lab operations and manage supply budgets
• Ensure clean, safe, and organized lab conditions at all times
• Collaborate closely with other team members to support company goals and deadlines

• Prior kitchen, lab, or production experience strongly preferred

Compensation

this position is: salaried, $60,406 - $75,000
