The cheesemaking position at Mystic Cheese offers a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the artisan cheese industry.

This position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to the cheesemaking process while working alongside one of the most skilled cheesemakers in the country. This role is not only physically demanding but also mentally stimulating, providing a comprehensive understanding of the cheesemaking process from start to finish. The work environment is fast paced requiring an early start and often work on the weekends. A significant portion of the job involves cleaning and sanitizing equipment, which is crucial for maintaining high standards of cheese quality and food safety. This position is ideal for those who are detailed orientated, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for food production and quality assurance. A commitment of at least 12 months is strongly preferred, and the roll offers competitive hourly compensation.
