Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Set and enforce clear expectations for service, cleanliness, and professionalism
Hire, train, coach, and retain high-performing team members — and let go of those who don’t meet standards
Manage daily operations including opening/closing procedures, scheduling, payroll, end-of-day reporting, and inventory
Oversee all front-of-house performance: check delivery, attentiveness, and guest satisfaction
Address team performance issues swiftly and constructively
Ensure cash handling is secure and accurate — drawer discrepancies must be eliminated
Lead weekly staff meetings, service trainings, and performance check-ins
Maintain and improve Square POS organization (menus, modifiers, pricing)
Monitor and control labor costs and employee meals
Collaborate with bartenders to improve product knowledge, sales focus, and professionalism behind the bar
Drive bar sales through promotions, event planning, and community engagement
Develop and execute systems that support accountability and boost morale (e.g., sales incentives, contests, shift goals)
Represent the diner with pride and professionalism to both staff and guests
Compensation
this position is: salaried, $75,000 - $100,000
