Company description
Join our passionate and dedicated team at Farmer Foodshare, a Durham, NC-based 501 (c)(3) nonprofit, where we work toward a future in which local food systems flourish, communities are nourished, and farms thrive. We envision a vibrant food culture rooted in resilience, ensuring food security for all while supporting North Carolina farmers. Our mission is to strengthen connections within the food system by increasing access to fresh, nutritious, locally sourced food, empowering farmers, and improving the health of our communities. Our Food Hub programs create markets for North Carolina farmers by buying their products, then selling to local businesses and institutions, while also delivering fresh, healthy food to food insecure folks in our community and through a food is medicine program.
