We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Culinary Specialist for a new Bar and Restaurant in the Fan. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in the food industry, hospitality and project management.
The Culinary Specialist will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained. This position offers an exciting opportunity to create exceptional experiences while working in a collaborative kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in menu development that reflects seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
Execute food preparation tasks including chopping, cooking, and plating dishes with attention to detail.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment.
Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with guests during meal service.
Requirements:
Previous kitchen experience
Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and serving.
Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
Proficient knife skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure are required.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Compensation
this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
