Job description
Corto is seeking a freelance social media consultant to support the growth and development of our presence on social media in a way that resonates with both professional and home chefs.
The ideal candidate has experience working with brands on social media and is willing to provide thought leadership & social expertise to lead Corto’s strategy and content but is not afraid to dig into executional details.
This is a role best for someone looking for a long-term commitment and a start-up attitude that embraces the opportunity to apply creativity to test, learn, and refine content strategies—not just execute.
Seeking an individual with the following experience:
Strategy & Content Creation
- Defining a social media content strategy for a food brand, ideally one that encompasses both a foodservice and e-commerce presence
- Developing monthly content calendars, including conceptualizing and writing posts for Instagram and Facebook
- Strategizing social media plans for product launches and marketing campaigns
- Capturing original video content for product-focused posts or in-person events
- Editing footage to create on-brand reel videos
Outreach & Engagement
- Monitoring and interacting with customers, potential customers and other stakeholders in line with brand values via the company’s social media accounts
Reporting
- Collecting, analyzing and sharing monthly performance metrics
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Part-time freelance position, with applicants based in the Bay Area or Central Valley region with access to Lodi, California strongly preferred
- Time commitment of approximately 25 hours per week (95–100 hours/month) with flexibility based on content needs and campaign cycles
Compensation
this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
