As a Supervisor at TOSC, you’ll jump into action with a variety of hands-on tasks across production, sanitation, and operations. You’ll be the heartbeat of our production line—ensuring everything runs smoothly, equipment stays spotless, and products are delivered on time. And the best part? 2.0 Job Responsibilities
Production
Participate in seamless shift transitions by handing off tasks effectively.
Understand responsibilities and expectations by station
Maintain production efficiency by completing key tasks within targeted timeframes (e.g., batch mixing within 25-30 minutes, clearing jams within 5-10 minutes).Infeed: Set rollers, read batch sheets, pack product.
Ingredients: Set up and tare scales, follow color coding, weigh and mix ingredients.
Mixer: Control heat, view temperatures, set programs, operate safely.
Flow Wrapper: Load and thread film, clean, adjust temperatures.
Catching: Understand packaging, assemble cases, date cases.
Other: Hand off tasks, meet station expectations, maintain efficiency.
Sanitation
Perform cleaning on all equipment in production
Perform additional tasks in master sanitation across all TOSC facilities
Cross training to perform duties in other departments
Supplement staff in cross trained departments Perform scheduled cleaning and sanitizing of equipment, tools, and facilities.
Maintain current knowledge of cleaning procedures, GMPs, and standards.
Physical activity, communication, time management, and professionalism required.
Adhere to cGMP.
Clean all production equipment.
Perform additional master sanitation tasks across facilities.
Cross-train and supplement staff in other departments as needed.
Warehouse
Forklift operation
Inspecting products and materials
Maintaining food safety and GMP requirements
Production support
Preparing pick lists
Replenishing raw materials
Receiving and logging finished goods
Packaging
Interpret and follow project and vendor guidelines
Locate and extract product and marketing materials from shelves and storage areas
Confirm that product and marketing materials information match project requirements
Pack product and marketing materials as required
Order Processing
Enter orders through specified sales systems
Fulfill orders in specified channels of business
Finalize order in database

4.0 Health and Safety
Comply with health and safety procedures per governing standards
Complete any required training as requested
Follow GMPS(Good Manufacturing Procedure) set forth by TOSC
Understand the best practices for handwashing and changing gloves ( any time entering production, when soiled, when changing tasks, any time gloves are damaged, etc)
Know allergens in raw ingredients and finished products
Complete any required training as requested
Comply with allergen color coding as set forth
Understand how cross contamination works, and how to avoid it by following
