Gastronome was established in 2017. We seek to bring restaurant quality style, product, service and hospitality to catering and our new wholesale bakery division.
By 2024, Gastronome will be the premier provider of elegantly catered social affairs and individual meal plans in the NY-Tri State Area by consistently meeting and exceeding our customer’s sophisticated culinary needs in a timely, convenient and elegant fashion.
During Covid we were able to create an entire wholesale patisseries, sweets and breakfast pastries business. We currently produce about 8,000 items a week and distribute across mainly NYC.
Job description
Looking for a talented, creative and willing Pastry Chef to expand and develop with our Head Pastry Chef our wholesale patisserie and breakfast items. We are continually building the business so looking for an individual who can bring their knowledge of flavors, baking and work on developing an entire book and catalogue. Furthermore develop production and streamline purchasing and payroll.
Compensation
this position is: salaried, $75,000 - $100,000
