Job description
Job Title: PM Manager
Overview:
The PM Manager supports the Owner Operator by overseeing late-afternoon and evening operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining operational efficiency, and fostering a positive team environment. This role focuses on project and team leadership, operational support, and maintaining service standards while contributing to the restaurant’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Operations:
Assist the Owner Operator in supervising day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth workflow.
Inspire strong leadership within the team and lead by example.
Maintain a consistent schedule of 25–35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a presence during key evening periods.
Support the implementation and follow-through of company policies and procedures.
Ensure service standards are consistently met and improved upon.
Team Management:
Supervise operations as the Manager on Duty during service hours when Owner Operator is not present.
Support employee relations by fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Provide coaching and guidance to team members to ensure peak performance.
Customer Experience:
Engage with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
Be a visible and approachable leader during busy service times to enhance the guest experience.
Operational Efficiency:
Oversee inventory levels and assist in restocking sauces, dressings, and garnishes as needed.
Manage the setup and breakdown of stations and the prep and maintenance of the service line.
Ensure cleanliness of the dining room, prep area, all storage areas, food handling surfaces, restrooms, etc.
Hands-On Support:
Step in as needed to take and fill orders, cash out customers, and assist team members during high-volume periods.
Maintain a positive, proactive approach to resolving issues and ensuring smooth operations.
Qualifications:
+Leadership experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
+Strong organizational and time management skills.
+Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication abilities.
+A hands-on, team-oriented approach with a willingness to step into any operational role as needed.
+Ability to work nights Monday – Friday (No weekends).
Compensation
this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $20.00 - $30.00
