Job description

The Development Specialist plays a key role in advancing Fresh Approach’s mission by securing and managing grant funding to sustain and grow our programs. Working closely with the Director of Development, this position is responsible for identifying new grant opportunities, preparing and submitting proposals, tracking deliverables, and supporting reporting requirements. The nature of grant writing and reporting requires adherence to tight deadlines and a strong ability to manage timelines and prioritize tasks based on deadlines. While the role will include some donor stewardship and event support, the primary focus is on grant writing, management, and compliance.

Major responsibilities include: Grant Development & Management and Donor Engagement & Events Support.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
