Your Role

Cook I Duties:
Performs basic cooking skills independently while serving as the first step in various dishes. Completes all tasks in order on the prep list and recipe procedures.
- Prepares and cooks food according to recipes or scheduled menu, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
- Learns and adjusts to planned menu changes.
- Washes, dries, chops, measures, and sorts ingredients or seasonings while ensuring labeling and stock levels meet requirements.
- Transfers frozen food from freezer to refrigerators and produce to dry storage.
- Follows the “First In, First Out” or FIFO practice for food and ingredients.
- Maintains safety standards and training procedures while working with hot and cold food and using knives, pots and pans, ovens, grills, food processors, and slicers.
- Follows manufacturers recommended the use of dangerous chemicals in accordance with organization policy.
- Maintains kitchen cleanliness and sanitation to protect guests’ dietary and allergy restrictions. Washes utensils, dishes, and cookware, removes trash and sanitizes work areas regularly.
- Maintains personal hygiene, wears a clean uniform, keeps nails cut short and polish-free, hair away from food, and practices proper hand washing in compliance with Food Safety standards.
- Adheres to all relevant nutrition and sanitary regulations and standards.
- Works effectively in a team setting while maintaining a positive working relationship with fellow team members in andout of Kitchen Table.
- Works nights, weekends, and holidays.

this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
