1% of our revenue supports donated meals made by our charitable arm, Just Fare Community Kitchen. So far, we have delivered over 494,250 meals to communities fighting food insecurity in the Bay Area.

Job description
Responsibilities
Program Oversight & Operations
- Perform the daily operational functions for multiple assigned client locations, ensuring service areas are stocked, clean, and aligned with Just Fare presentation standards.
- Hands on support in performing daily stocking, receiving, and inventory tasks for multiple sites as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, manage smallwares, and ensure FIFO rotation.
- Monitor product levels, place orders within budget, and communicate shortages or substitutions to HQ.
- Identify recurring operational issues or equipment needs and escalate promptly.
- Maintain consistency in service quality and sustainability practices across all assigned sites.
Team Leadership
- Provide daily support and direction to Workplace Attendants across multiple locations.
- Ensure staff follow SOPs and uphold Just Fare’s hospitality and service standards.
- Assist with training and onboarding of new team members.
- Serve as the first point of escalation for team or client concerns at assigned sites, resolving issues with professionalism and discretion.
- Collaborate with HQ and Senior Program Manager on scheduling, staffing changes, and coverage needs.
Client & Guest Relations
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients in the office, while creating a positive and warm environment amongst a large diverse community
- Ability to anticipate and respond to client feedback and requests with a hospitality-forward, solutions-oriented approach.
- Communicate service updates, issues, and successes to HQ and clients as needed.
Reporting & Communication
- Submit daily and weekly reports on service performance, inventory, and staffing updates to HQ.
- Track waste, donations, and other key metrics in line with Just Fare’s sustainability goals.
- Participate in regular check-ins with HQ and contribute to team meetings or pilot rollouts.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3+ years customer service experience, preferably in a client facing roles in a service industry, like hospitality, or facilities operations.
- Minimum 1 year in a customer facing lead or supervisory role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and locations simultaneously.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to lead by example and uphold a positive, team-oriented culture.
- Experience with ordering, inventory management, and vendor communication.
- Basic Food Handler Certification.
- Proficiency in GSuite and inventory/order tracking systems.
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle may be required for site visits.
- Smartphone required for daily communication and reporting.
Schedule & Expectations
Typical schedules are Monday through Friday with hours dependent on the service. You are responsible for managing your schedule, based on your shift availability, with your supervisor.

- Competitive wages in an equitable tiered pay structure for all positions. Non-Negotiable.

Compensation
this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $25.00 - $28.00
