Job description
JOB DESCRIPTION: Production Setup Consultant (Chocolate Manufacturing / CPG)
We’re seeking an experienced chocolatier or food production consultant to help us replicate and establish domestic production of our Dubai Delights chocolate bars. This is a contract (1099) role focused on building out the full U.S. manufacturing process — from sourcing to packaging — with the goal of handing off a ready-to-run system to our internal team.
Responsibilities
Reverse-engineer and replicate our current chocolate formulation and process
Source high-quality U.S. ingredients that match our imported standards
Identify and coordinate with co-packers or small-batch production partners
Advise on equipment selection, tempering, molding, and wrapping lines
Document SOPs (standard operating procedures) for long-term internal use
Ensure FDA compliance, labeling accuracy, and efficient scale-up strategy
Ideal Experience
Background in chocolate manufacturing, confectionery R&D, or CPG setup
Familiar with small-batch to mid-scale production (100–10,000 bars/month)
Knowledge of co-packing, food safety, and packaging design workflows
Creative, solution-oriented, and comfortable working independently
