Healing Seeds Farm is a high-altitude regenerative botanical medicine and produce farm utilizing organic growing methods and located in Peoa, Utah (approximately 20 miles outside of Park City). Our property is 58 acres, and the farm sits on approximately 5 acres between two forks of the Weber River. Our growing areas consist of a 2/3 acre herbal medicine field plot (with more to come), 100 ft high tunnel greenhouse with 6 beds used for produce, outdoor produce plot with 5 beds, 33 ft diameter Growing Spaces Dome primarily used for produce, berry rows and houses, fruit orchard with 50 trees, and perennial bee and display gardens.

Job description
About the Position
The Produce Farmer will manage all aspects of produce production and support overall land stewardship on the Farm. We are growing produce on a small scale for our Healing Seeds family, and intend to foster more community connections to support food security and availability. We are not currently operating a CSA or selling at Farmer’s Markets, and do not intend to do this for the 2026 season, but will consider in the future. In 2026, we are working to launch our herbal medicine products. This position will involve supporting the herbal medicine side of our business.
Supporting positions are a General Manager, Botanical Medicine Farmer, and other Seasonal Farmers.

Responsibilities
- Crop planning, planting, cultivating, weeding and harvesting a variety of produce crops
- Irrigation and soil health management, including crop rotation practices
- Pest management, monitoring and implementation
- Training and supervision of seasonal staff as it relates to the produce
- Operating and maintaining farm equipment and machinery, such as tractors, tillers and irrigation systems
- Operating and maintaining the indoor/outdoor growing spaces
- Keeping accurate records of planting, treatments, harvests and yields
- Quality control for all aspects of the produce
- Assisting with other duties as requested
- Attending meetings as requested
- Adhering to food safety, worker protection and environmental regulations
- Participating in post-harvest activities such as storing, drying and preserving produce
Requirements
- Prior experience in produce farming
- Knowledge of sustainable, regenerative, biodynamic and/or organic growing practices a plus
- Comfortable operating and maintaining farm machinery
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to effectively communicate
- Outstanding candidates are keen problem solvers who are focused on efficiency, take a hands-on approach and are willing to take initiative.
- Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
- Requires strenuous physical work, heavy lifting, pushing or pulling of objects over 50 lbs
- Work involves exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke or unpleasant odors.
- Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
- Flexibility to work long hours, weekends and some holidays during peak season
Pay and Benefits
- This is a full-time seasonal position for 35-45 hrs per week from approximately March 15 - October 31, 2026. Year-round work may be a possibility.
- Hourly rate is $20-$32 per hour depending on experience. Overtime is not paid at time and half.

- End-of-season bonus equal to 3% of the hours worked
- Discount of 50% (plus sales tax) on Healing Seeds products
Produce/herbs/flowers free of charge based on availability

Employment with Healing Seeds will be on an at-will basis, which means you and the company are free to terminate employment at any time, with or without cause or advance notice.
Compensation
this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
