The Ideal Candidate must….

-Be located in the metro ny area (this is not a job that can be done remotely

-Have multiple years of sales experience in the specialty food industry

-Have a love of food

-Be great at multitasking

-Be able to work independently and set one’s own agenda

-Have extensive cheese knowledge

Job Details:

Customer service is the top priority at The World’s Best and we expect every member of our sales team to be courteous, friendly, and always helpful.

Day to day responsibilities include:

-Visiting customers in Manhattan, Queens, and parts of Long Island to take weekly orders and conduct tastings

-Assisting with merchandising ideas

-Searching for new accounts

-A typical workweek is Monday-Thursday from 8am-5pm and Fridays from 8-4pm. During the holidays, the hours will be extended slightly.

-Weekend work will occasionally be required for trade shows, inventory, and to process orders on major holiday weeks.

-While training, your first few weeks will be spent in our office in Armonk, NY. Once settled you will typically only spend 1 day a week in the office to gather samples and work on various projects.
