As the first and last point of contact with our guests, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming, informative, and upbeat experience that reflects our core values. You’ll introduce customers to our plant-based mission, serve up great vibes alongside great food, and ensure every visit is smooth, satisfying, and memorable.

Schedule: flexibility required for two shift times:
Opening Shift: 7am - 3:00pm
Closing Shift: 11am - 7:15pm
Employment Type: Part time 2-3 shifts per week
Starting Pay: Starting at $19/hour, plus tips

Primary Duties of the Host / Cashier / Brand Ambassador Position
- Greet clients and communicate Electric Beets’ principles and describe the food we sell
- Engage with clients while addressing concerns, boosting sales through positive connections, cross sales, product recommendations
- Check customers out at the register using Square POS, carefully bag products
- Prepare drinks and serve soup when requested by customers; give out samples of daily soup special
- Communicate with BOH; running out of product, identifying items needed for ordering, identifying issues with product / food
- Maintain food safety practices to keep a sanitary storefront
- Organize, date, label and rotate deliveries
- Clean, stage, organize and label product for an optimal retail experience
- Restock paper goods, continual inventory/notification for reordering to Manager
- Clean tables, chairs, counters, glass doors, floors, front of shop on sidewalk
- Update online availability of items & prepare delivery orders
- Coordinate Too Good To Go orders
- Assisting other FOH team members
- Take direction while working quickly and calmly under pressure
- Spend 100% of the time working while standing
- Lift a minimum of 35 pounds while climbing stairs
- Must be available to work weekends

Compensation
this position is: hourly, $16.50 - 20/hr
