Company description
We’re an artisan sourdough bakery opening in High Falls this winter, built around a simple idea: great bread starts with great values.
Brooklyn Sour is a women-owned and queer-owned business, and our team is committed to sustainability, from sourcing local ingredients to keeping our production methods intentional and waste-conscious.
Along with our breads and pastries, we’ll also offer a small selection of retail products that reflect our focus on quality and local partnerships.
We take the craft seriously, using slow fermentation, high-quality grains, and baked goods that reflect the best of our region.
We aim to become a community hub, a place where neighbors gather, regulars feel known, and the team feels proud of the work they do every day.
We believe in fair, livable wages without relying on tips, and we back that up with real benefits, including healthcare and a genuinely supportive work environment. If you’re looking for a workplace that takes both the craft and the people doing it seriously, we’d like to meet you.
