Our cafe is a hidden gem, just off of Cheshire Bridge Rd, in Atlanta, GA. The cafe is inspired by Julia's South African-Jewish roots. We serve specialty coffee, brekkie (breakfast), brunch, lunch, cocktails and natural wines daily.

Daily Chew expands beyond the cafe. We create simple, seasonal, and nourishing experiences through our catering, events, and farmer's markets.

Job description

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Host with passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service. The ideal candidate will greet and seat guests, present and inform guests on the expectations of their dining experience. Most importantly, the Host will ensure that every guest feels welcomed and valued, consistently striving to exceed their expectations.

We're looking for folks with hosting experience preferably with the goal of making hospitality a career!

Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet and seat guests upon their arrival.
• Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile, eye contact, and positive body language.
• Escort guests to their assigned dining area and present menus.
• Monitor and manage the waitlist, ensuring guests are seated in a timely manner.
• Communicate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Address any guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area.
• Assist with reservations and special requests.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

• Support team members as needed throughout shift to ensure great guests experiences and efficient team work flow.
• Special events experience is a plus

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
