Job description
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager with 3–4 years of B2B sales experience to drive growth, build strong customer relationships, and expand Featherstone’s presence in key markets. The ideal candidate has experience in foodservice, specialty foods, or bakery distribution—and ideally a genuine love and understanding of bread, pastry, and artisan baked goods.
This role combines strategic account development with hands-on prospecting, cold calling, and in-person visits. You will be responsible for identifying and onboarding new customers, growing existing customers, and managing a regional book of business.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cold calls, outreach, and field visits to build a strong pipeline of new business.
- Grow existing accounts through relationship management, product knowledge, and consultative selling.
- Present and promote our extensive line of artisan bread, pastries, gluten-free products, and specialty offerings.
- Coordinate product samples, tastings, and follow-ups with prospects.
- Develop a deep understanding of bakery production schedules, order cycles, and distribution logistics.
- Partner closely with Customer Service and Operations to ensure seamless onboarding and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate CRM notes, weekly activity reports, and updated sales forecasts.
- Represent Featherstone at tastings, food shows, and customer events when needed.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success with cold calling, lead generation, and building new business.
- Strong passion for food—bonus points for those who love bread, pastry, and understand artisan baking.
- Ability to build strong, trusted relationships with chefs, cafe owners, purchasing managers, and hospitality groups.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and follow-up skills.
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and transportation for daily field visits.

Compensation
this position is: salaried, $75,000 - $100,000
