Company description
For over 12 years, Fresh Truck has been a trusted source of fresh food in Boston, providing a reliable and dignified shopping experience for communities that lack access to quality produce. Since launching in 2013, Fresh Truck has grown from a single retrofitted school bus serving a handful of neighborhoods to a citywide network of mobile markets, bringing fresh, affordable food directly to where people need it most.
We envision a Boston where fresh, affordable food is a guarantee for every neighborhood, not a privilege. A city where food is more than nourishment—it’s a connection to health, opportunity, and community. By strengthening local food systems, we will build a more resilient, self-sustaining Boston that thrives in the face of economic and environmental challenges.
When institutions fall short, we will rise to meet the need. Fresh Truck will continue to transform how food reaches people, expanding access to high-quality, culturally relevant produce in the neighborhoods that need it most. Our markets will serve as hubs of connection, where food is accessible, shopping is dignified, and choice is never compromised.
