Line Cooks : Prep Cooks : Dishwashers : Porters
We are seeking back of house employees who are organized, detail oriented, and calm under pressure. Candidates should have a flexible schedule with early morning and weekend availability, strong worth ethic, ability to follow direction, desire to grow within the restaurant, ability to maintain quality standards while working independently. We can assist with obtaining of food safety certification.
$17-23 / hr depending on position and experience
Line Cook will assist the CDC with menu execution and daily specials; ensure food is prepared to recipe standards with consistency and quality; assist with kitchen organization, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety standards. Preference for 1+ years of experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment; strong cooking skills with knowledge of classic American diner cuisine a plus.
Prep Cook will prepare food products for use in kitchen service (example: sauces, breads, tuna salad) under guidance of Sous Chef; ensure food is prepared to recipe standards with consistency and quality; follow guidelines for kitchen organization, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety standards. Preference for 1+ years of experience in a kitchen environment; strong knife skills with knowledge of classic American diner cuisine a plus.
Dishwasher will clean and sanitize dishes, flatware, and kitchen equipment with efficiency and attention to detail; restock washed items appropriately; maintain clean and organized dishwashing machines and station; perform supportive kitchen tasks such as emptying trash & recycling receptacles, cleaning floors and other kitchen areas, and other supportive duties.
Porter will clean and sanitize all areas throughout the restaurant: dining room, kitchen, staff areas, restrooms; clean and sanitize outdoor areas: front steps and ramp, staff entry, loading dock, outdoor trash areas; ensure that supplies are stocked in all restaurant areas; provide support for additional restaurant tasks such as receiving deliveries, stocking supplies, kitchen prep tasks, etc.Benefits:
