Job description
The Center for an Agricultural Economy is hiring: Join our Just Cut production team in Hardwick! Be part of the critical crew who takes on the important task of preparing veggies to nourish our community. A plethora of potatoes, copious carrots, bountiful beets, and a cornucopia of cabbage are processed for local schools, hospitals, and co-ops. The Just Cut kitchen at the Vermont Food Venture Center is the heart of veggie production, where the team processes over 185,000 pounds of veggies each year. Enthusiastic about value-added products? Our team has the chance to develop, refine, and produce new and exciting local foods. This year, Just Cut has developed our own hummus for the University of Vermont’s dining services. Full-time position at 32-40 hours a week, $20.00/hour with full benefits and room for growth and advancement. Position open until filled. Make a positive impact in our food system with Just Cut!
