Company description
OUR MISSION
Camino de Paz’s mission is to provide high-quality, healthy, locally produced food and support the local economy, as well as to share our knowledge and experience with the community. We strive to cultivate a sustainable relationship among the people, the land, and the food we grow, rooted in the traditions of small-scale agriculture, diverse production, regenerative stewardship, and hard work.
OUR FARM & TEAM
Camino de Paz Farm is 25 miles north of Santa Fe in the high desert of northern New Mexico,. Our farm includes a goat herd, cows, orchard, greenhouses, fields and pastures which produce the raw materials for our dairy, creamery, and bakery. We produce organic cheeses, yogurts, sourdough breads, bagels, pastries, preserved foods and other products, usually incorporating our own milk and produce into our cheeses and baked goods. Our products are sold in local farmers markets and stores, as well as online.
We work to maintain a pleasant, positive, and cooperative work environment, where everyone (farm and office workers, bakers, market, and dairy workers) knows and values each other’s contribution to the whole. We value diversity, mutual respect, flexibility, a friendliness with error, and a willingness to learn, and be responsible for one’s actions. We invite open and honest communication to clarify understanding before misunderstanding becomes a problem.
