Job description
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, ensuring high standards of service, product quality, and team performance. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for food and community.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day store operations
Lead, train, and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service
Schedule staff and manage labor efficiently
Oversee inventory, ordering, and product quality
Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health regulations
Handle customer feedback with professionalism and care
Manage our multiple revenue streams for the Court Street location.
Online nationwide shipping
Local catering
Instore sales
Local deliveries
Jewish and other holidays offerings and programming
Work closely with ownership to maintain Shelsky’s standards and culture

Qualifications
2+ years of management experience in food retail, specialty food, or hospitality
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
Passion for quality food and great service
Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
Compensation
this position is: salaried, $75,000 - $100,000
