Job description

Vermont Salumi is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Order Fulfillment and Inside Sales Lead to support our growing business. This role is responsible for managing inside sales activities, processing and fulfilling online orders, and handling a variety of administrative tasks that support daily operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-focused, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
-Manage inbound sales inquiries from wholesale and direct customers
-Fulfill sample requests and follow up with retailers
-Process and fulfill e-commerce orders from our online platforms
-Address customer questions related to online orders and shipping
-Maintain inventory of shipping supplies
-Maintain accurate inventory of all skus across our online platforms
-Support sales with in-person customer visits and product demonstrations
-Support production team with wrapping, packaging, and other work as needed

Qualifications
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Excellent computer skills, able to quickly learn new software
-Self-motivated and reliable, with a team-oriented attitude

-Experience in food or specialty food industries (preferred)

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
