Job description
Rock Cobble Farm is seeking a detail-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee all aspects of crop production, specialty products, and seasonal Farmstand operations. This role coordinates produce for the farm owners, manages deliveries to Swyft and Ore Hill restaurants, and leads Farmstand operations.
The ideal candidate brings strong horticultural knowledge, excellent organizational and communication skills, and demonstrated experience training staff in both production and customer service. They are comfortable working collaboratively within a larger farm and management team, contributing to shared goals while supporting daily operations with clarity, professionalism, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead production for vegetables, small fruit, flowers, tea, and honey production.
Maintain accurate crop records, harvest documentation, and plant identification.
Prepare and distribute weekly harvest lists for the farm owners, Farmstand, and Swyft and Ore Hill restaurants.
Oversee all produce drops and ensure timely, high-quality deliveries.
Manage the Farmstand POS system, including product setup, pricing, inventory, and cash box balancing.
Train and mentor Farmstand staff in customer service, procedures, and retail standards.
Supervise production and greenhouse staff, providing ongoing guidance and professional development.
Conduct pre-season pricing reviews, off-season planning, and update records for the upcoming season.
Lead guided tours of production areas during Farmstand events.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of vegetable growing, greenhouse management, and specialty crops.
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple responsibilities.
Experienced in POS management and seasonal retail operations.
Skilled in training and mentoring staff in production and customer service.

Compensation
this position is: salaried, varies DOE, $75,000.00 - $85,000.00
