Job description

Assist in the day to day maintenance of a market garden that includes our vegetable, microgreen and cut flower operation as we expand during a transitional period. Responsibilities will include assisting with daily greenhouse chores, weeding, bed prep, transplanting, harvesting, packing and maintaining the landscape around the growing areas (weed whacking, mowing, etc.)

Qualifications/Requirements:

*Experience working (outdoors) in the field of gardening/horticulture.

*Reliable, hard worker with a positive attitude.

*Ability to work both collaboratively and solo.

*Able to meet the demanding physical requirements of the job, including ability to move materials to various locations within the landscape. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50Lbs and work outside in varying weather (heat, cold, rain).

*Occasional assistance at the local farmer's market may be needed throughout the season.

Travel between the farm and local farm market may be necessary during the season. Must be available to work at least one weekend day. Experience with power equipment is preferred.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
