LMNOP sources local and regional ingredients grown sustainably in the Northeast, working with local roasters, growers, crafters, and makers in the greater Hudson Valley Region.
Job description
We are looking for an energetic, passionate, and responsible barista to join our team in Katonah, NY. Our baristas are committed to providing great customer service and hospitality. If you want to have have fun while working, love coffee and baked goods, we’d love to hear from you!
Essential responsibilities include:
-Arriving on time for all scheduled shifts
-Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-energy, fast-paced, and dynamic environment
-Stamina for the duration of the shift while being on your feet with ample physical activity
-Ability to lift 50 lbs
-Learning and being able to provide customers with details on LMNOP’s bread, pastry, and beverage menus
-Prior barista experience preferred.
-Making and serving beverages with a variety of different brewing and preparation methods in a high-volume environment
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills with customers and fellow staff members
-Taking on tasks to keep the bakery running smoothly and beautifully, including but not limited to, inventory management, cleaning, clearing and washing dishes, sweeping, dusting, mopping, restocking, and organizing storage areas
-Completing food safety certification license and allergen training course within 2 weeks of your start date, and learning all health, food safety, and safety guidelines
-Promoting a safe and respectful working environment
-Weekend and holiday availability required
Base hourly wage starts at $15, plus tips.
