We are a small, independent, family-owned Cambodian restaurant in Crown Heights Brooklyn. Our Chef, Chinchakriya Chaparro Un, has operated the highly successful pop-up Kreung Cambodia for the last 8 years, bringing Khmer food to every corner of NYC and representing this rich culinary tradition all over the world. Our first year as a brick and mortar has been received with great reception and accolades. We are proud of being independent, and represent our food unapologetically, as well as having high standards of sourcing, cooking technique and service.

Job description

Bong is seeking a highly experienced server for our restaurant in Crown Heights Brooklyn. The ideal candidate should have experience with wine, serving tables at high standard, and the fast-paced environment of NYC restaurants. Knowledge of Cambodian and South East Asian food is helpful. Our FOH is expected to know deeply about the food that they are serving and be able to express what makes our cuisine special. Our service is fast-paced and demanding.

Cambodian food lacks representation in NYC and Bong seeks to champion its rich culture and culinary tradition in the best way possible. Compensation

this position is: hourly, $16.50 - 20/hr
