Job description

A private family is seeking a talented chef for eight weeks this summer in the Hamptons (Sagaponack, NY). This role involves shopping and preparing meals for the family 5 days a week as well as small event lunches and dinner parties. Formal training as a cook/chef preferred.

Tentative dates: Friday, June 26-Sunday, September 6, 2026

Responsibilities:

Plan, shop and prepare lunches and dinners up to five days a week
(Monday and Tuesdays off)
Assist in creating customized menus for events, parties, and special occasions
Maintain kitchen cleanliness
Uphold confidentiality at all times
Benefits:

Ensuite bedroom and car provided (Driver’s license necessary)
Expected schedule 5 days a week
Days Off: Monday and Tuesdays
Prepare Lunches and dinners: Wednesday-Sunday
Compensation based on experience
