Overview
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading warehouse operations during the morning shift. This role ensures smooth execution of morning pick & pack production, metricized by labor rate and error rate. We’re seeking a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about operational excellence. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and dedicated to improving systems while motivating their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead production launch at opening (4:30AM sharp)
Regularly monitor Slack and and review inventory sheets for the day's expected shortages, substitutions, and special deliveries. Communicate information accordingly to Leads & Associates and ensure regular cross communication and collaboration cross departmentally including with the procurement team.
- Spot-check the orders to confirm accuracy and address any quality concerns immediately.
- Maintain the pace outlined in the % Completion Sheet. Proactively address bottlenecks on the floor (short staff, holds, system failures, etc).
- Monitor team performance and adherence to the warehouse training.
- Support end-of-day reassignment of AM-Team staff to secondary tasks to prevent workflow congestion when PM-Team arrives.
- Ensure pack completion goal for AM team is met before getting AM team leads and associates off the clock.
- Handover key updates to the Director of Warehouse Operations & PM-Team Warehouse Manager for a smooth transition.
- Assist with Training: implement employee training programs, onboarding, and coaching to ensure consistent adherence to warehouse protocols, efficiency, and quality standards.
- Provide hands-on mentorship and structure to help team members grow, improve performance, and succeed in a fast-growing operation.
- Assist with documentation: record attendance and performance issues and share with the Director of Warehouse Operations.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong knowledge of food quality standards, especially in fresh produce.
- 2+ years of experience managing warehouse, grocery, or fulfillment center operations.
- Proven ability to manage fast-paced production environments and improve efficiency.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control and error prevention.
- Effective leader capable of building morale and accountability among team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on operational improvement and proactive issue resolution.

Sunday to Thursday: 4:20AM to 2PM

Compensation
- $70,000 - $75,000 (based on experience)
- 30% store discount
