Ecolibrium is a multi-faceted company centered around a bio-intensive, market garden located in the Sammamish Valley, just 10 miles from Seattle. After recently moving from rented land to owned land, we're in an exciting growth phase.
Our farm includes:
- High-volume organic vegetable production (May–October)
- A strong spring plant sale
- On-farm pickup CSA with U-Pick component
- Sales to Seattle and King County restaurants
- On-farm store featuring our produce and other outstanding regional producers
- Seasonal meals, workshops, and volunteer days
We’re also actively expanding into microgreens, flowers, education, and more on-farm events.

Job description
Ecolibrium Farms is hiring seasonal farm crew for the 2026 season.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the farm leadership team and gain hands-on experience across nearly every aspect of production. This is physically demanding, fast-paced, and deeply rewarding work. We hold high standards and value people who show up ready to learn, collaborate, and give their best.
What You'll Do:
- Attend morning check-in meetings to learn tasks for the day (8:00 am sharp/7:00 am in summer)
- Implement of crop plan - including nursery/propagation bed prep, transplanting, cultivation/weeding, pruning/trellising
- Crop harvest 1-3 days a week depending on the season; harvesting and post-harvest handling
- Mowing and weed whacking
- Driving: 1-2 weekly deliveries to local restaurants in work van
What You'll Learn:
- Soil fertility and organic production systems
- Irrigation design and installation (drip, sprinklers, PVC)
- Record keeping and data collection for organic certification
- Efficient farm workflows and resource management
Job Details - Requirements and Compensation:
- Starting date: early-to-mid spring (March/April); for graduating college or college students looking for summer work a late May/early June start date is possible.
- Ending Date: in the fall (some winter work may be available).
- Must be willing and able to work consistent schedules
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm early and late season, 7:00-3:30 during peak season, with a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch break.
- Open to alternative schedules - including weekend work - but days need to be consistent every week.
- We strive to give everyone one week off between mid-July and mid-September to enjoy the fun of summer and ask that beyond that you limit days off through the primary growing season (June 1-Oct 1).
- Full-time, temporary position (ideally); with the right experience we will hire for part-time positions with a minimum commitment of 3 days weekly
Pay & Perks
- Compensation starts at $18.50-20.50/hr, depending on experience.

Qualifications - Who We Are Looking For:
The ideal candidate will share our fervent passion for growing the best tasting food in a way that is good for the land. They will have at least one season of farming experience (including internships/apprenticeships), preferably in the Pacific NW.
Good communication, self-awareness and self-motivation are essential as the position requires daily collaboration with the entire field crew and the ability to take feedback in real-time.
You should have:
- Desire and passion for working outside, with seasonally heavy work loads and public interaction
- Ability to consistently lift 50+ lbs and work in all types of weather conditions
- Market gardening (or other small-scale, intensive vegetable) experience preferred
- Experience with content (web or print) created by JM Fortier, Curtis Stone, Ben Hartman, Conor Crickmore and/or Eliot Coleman preferred
- Adaptability - ability to be flexible when changes occur: weather, tasks, etc.

Compensation
