Job description
Role and Responsibilities
· Manage sales territory in Southern Vermont, and New Hampshire while also working as an integral part of the sales team.
· Building relationships with new and existing customers. Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients is essential to ensure repeat business. Quickly resolve complaints or issues as they arise.
· Find avenues to maximize & fill routes within assigned territory to generate profit dollars – market penetration. Coordinate effectively with transportation and logistics to ensure route optimization while balancing sales needs.
· Work in conjunction with inside staff to develop leads, and sales strategies to reach company set goals. Identify and peruse new sales opportunities for business growth and territory development. Evaluate previous goals/strategies for effectiveness.
· Collaborate with the purchasing team to set up product demos and source potential new product lines.
· Demonstrate effective communication with potential customers, existing customers, colleagues and industry professionals.
· Strategize with leadership to work on areas for growth or improvement on a regular basis. Conduct regular market research to stay on top of industry trends. Attend regular sales meetings to offer both feedback and progress for sales territory and company business. Promote the UVP brand and values.
· Fill in as needed for member of the sales team (inside & outside) as requested. Understanding the inside operations will be a requirement prior to going on the road.

ONBOARDING
· On boarding will take three weeks and be rotated through several departments to gain an understanding of operations and key personnel. Departments include Inside Sales, Warehouse 1st shift, Warehouse 2nd shift, Transportation including Londonderry, and Provisions.
Company equipment will be issued after onboarding process has been completed.
Compensation
this position is: salaried, $50,000 - $75,000
