As a member of the Tour Crew, you’ll travel with us to incredible landscapes, help lead the execution of each event, and be part of delivering unforgettable dining experiences. This is a salaried, full-time position. Lodging, travel, and event-day meals are included.
Our tour runs from May through November and crew are expected to travel with the team for the entirety of this time.

Job Description
One of two driver positions, this team member is responsible for the safe operation and transportation of our trucks, trailers, equipment, and tour crew. Drivers will become highly familiar with our vehicles and their capabilities, our full trailer inventory, and the proper maintenance of all equipment.
Our drivers must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while consistently thinking several steps ahead. Safety is the top priority at all times, both on and off the road.
On event days, the Reception Manager will support trailer movements during setup and breakdown, oversee reception, breakdown reception, and manage the scullery station.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and safely transport OITF trucks, trailers, equipment and TC members from one location to another
- Communicate with the tour crew to develop and execute load-in and load-out plans based on the founders vision
- Manage and facilitate the unloading and loading of the trailers
- Manage the inventory list of all equipment, and ensure its accuracy
- Work with the crew to determine station placements and assist with design adjustments
- Manage the build of the reception space alongside the Host (manager)
- Provide direction to production staff members delegated to work with you
- Oversee the flow and success of Reception hour by managing the bar, reception kitchen and check-in as needed
- Support the Host during the Farm Tour to provide timing updates to the crew and corralling guests from point A to point B
- Work alongside your fellow Infrastructure Manager or production crew member to break
down and load-out reception
- Work alongside your fellow Infrastructure Manager or production crew member to manage
and oversee the dish station on event days
- Monitor table service during events, ensuring accurate course timing and platter clearing
- Setup & breakdown of the table, service station, outdoor kitchen & reception; unpacking & packing platters, supplies & equipment
- Responsible for the charging and distribution of solar lights to assist in lighting for both guests and staff members at the conclusion of our events
- Build and manage scheduling and tracking of vehicle and trailer maintenance/repair
- Strategize and execute plan to maintain equipment/vehicle/trailer integrity while on the road
- Strategize ways to reduce repair costs on the road
- Assist in training new OITF employees on driving, parking, and event setups
General Tour Support
- Provide additional tour support and administrative assistance when requested and needed
- Communicate with the Tour Manager regarding the tour schedule and necessary off-day tasks to complete event repairs
- Assist in the errands and tasks on non-event days (i.e. menu pick-up, event laundry, charcoal, repair needs, and miscellaneous items)
Content & Storytelling
Your perspective is essential to helping us share the spirit and humanity of each gathering with our wider audience since our marketing team is not usually present on-site. All Tour Crew members are required to capture content from life on the road, including:
- Behind-the-scenes photos and videos
- Brief written or spoken summaries following each event sharing reflections and details of the event
- Insights into life on the road — travel days, team rituals, favorites (songs, snacks, etc.), obstacles (ex: trailer got stuck)
Working Conditions
Special working conditions require regular evening and weekend work, including extended shifts of 12 hours or more. Work is performed in a variety of weather conditions and takes place outdoors, requiring comfort and resilience in the elements. Substantial travel is expected on non-event days, including driving multiple hours between production locations.
Living Conditions
Accommodations may include hotels, homeshares, or camping, depending on location and availability. Shared rooms are common, so comfort with communal living is essential. Candidates must demonstrate a strong team-oriented mindset and maintain high standards of cleanliness and respect in shared living spaces.
Physical Requirements
This is a physically demanding position. Individuals must be able to stand for long periods, lift and carry heavy equipment regularly, perform repetitive tasks, work in confined spaces, and safely ascend or descend ramps while carrying gear.
Key Qualities
- Confidence learning to drive a trailer
- Comprehensive knowledge of the mechanics of a truck and trailer
- Excellent communicator
- Ability to think quickly and act accordingly in times of high pressure
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools, and how to use them
- Criminal and incident free driving record is required
- CPR or BLS Certified is a plus
Compensation
- $4,000 monthly salary
- $500 monthly non-deductible travel stipend
- 5 days PTO
- Travel & lodging costs will be covered

- 6 half-priced event tickets
