Job description
We are looking for a cook to work in our kitchen/restaurant for a seasonal position lasting from early April through October. The position includes onsite, private housing in a 2-bedroom cottage beside the river, which includes a kitchen, laundry, bathroom, and living space. Wifi and electricity included. Pets allowed.
The cook would work under our head chef/owner, helping to prepare and serve made-from-scratch, family-style breakfast and dinner for our 40-50 onsite guests. Professional training is not required, just a love for cooking. The food style is casual, colorful, and farm-fresh -- think lots of casseroles, fresh salads, grilled meats, and homemade muffins. The position would be a great fit for a single person or potentially a couple looking together.
Breakfast shift begins at 7:30am and dinner shift begins at 5:30pm. Each shift is around 3-4 hours. Position involves both food preparation and serving.
Due to our rural location, you must have your own transportation. Pay starts at $15-$20/hour plus tips and housing.
Compensation
