Company description
Bloomcourt Farm, est in 2021, is a woman owned and community minded specialty cut flower farm in Chappaqua, NY. We specialize in growing high quality unusual varieties, highly coveted by designers and keen flower lovers alike. Our flowers are sold wholesale to florists and limited grocery accounts, and through a year-round CSA program.
The farm is located about an hour north of NYC on the site of a defunct swim and tennis club. Our farming beds are on the old tennis courts! We grow year-round, in the field, in high tunnels, and in a fully enclosed indoor winter growing space. We use intensive, minimal till, organic techniques on 1 acre of land. We grow over 25 varieties of flowers - a mix of perennials, annuals, and biennials, and hydroponically forced tulips in the winter. We engage in regenerative agricultural practices that give back to the land such as pollinator pathways, no/low-till farming, organic amendments, cover cropping, mulching, and integrated pest management.
