We offer our products wholesale, retail, at farmers’ markets, as well as host evening cooking classes in our cozy space. We are a small, busy team who work hard and prioritize customer experience and quality bread and pastries.
Job description
Colette Bread and Bakeshop is looking to hire a General Manager with a background in bakery management, baking, and customer service. This position is a minimum 32 -40 hours/week and reports to the owner. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Retail operations and sales
- A holistic understanding of business operations
Inventory management for front and back of house
Maintaining relationships with wholesale clients and wholesale organization
- Working three FOH shifts per week, 1-2 weekend days are a must
- Generating revenue by implementing promotions, events, and streamlining operations
- Scheduling
- Problem solving
- Quality control
- PROFICIENT USE OF CANVA, EXCEL, GOOGLE
Ideal Candidate :
- has 1 + years in a professional baking environment or kitchen
- Values organization, timeliness, efficiency, cleanliness + smooth operations
- Can take direction well and retain information (i.e. taking notes is your favorite!)
- Is self motivated and a problem solver
- Is excited to try new things to help grow this small business forward
Pay is based on experience. This is our first salaried position and we will examine pay based on the experience of the individual. We are looking at around 40-45k annual salary. We are also open to discussing profit sharing. We pay a training hourly rate for the first 3 weeks of employment with an automatic increase to salary.
Compensation
this position is: salaried, $35,568* - $50,000
