Job description

A typical Figure 8 Fellow has familiarity with the food & beverage industry, or has educational or professional experience with directed project work.

What You’ll Do

• Represent Figure 8 and our agency partner as the first point-of-contact with external Operators; initiate outreach—both via outbound calls and email—to targeted clients to promote the initiative.
• Answer inquiries, address concerns, and handle objections with clarity and professionalism.
• Coordinate and schedule communications between stakeholder partners.
• Maintain accurate records of calls, emails, customer responses, and appointment bookings in CRM.
• Provide call support and ensure relevant documentation is completed.
• Provide campaign feedback and insights to refine targeting, messaging, and execution.
• Report regularly on progress, outcomes, and project performance metrics.
• Coordinate with Figure 8 Team to support project needs and project delivery.
• Complete assigned project tasks according to Fig. 8 standards and deadlines.

What You Bring

• Experience or interest in outbound sales or campaign-based outreach roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage and persuade via phone and email.
• Experience with Hubspot, Google Sheets, and Slack preferred.
• Experience with completing directed tasks on a project.
• Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills.
• Confident and comfortable speaking on the phone for extended periods (up to several hours per day).
• Skilled at guiding stakeholders through processes with clarity and professionalism.
• Able to maintain momentum during outreach efforts to drive results.
• Highly organized, with the ability to navigate systems while helping the team stay on schedule and meet deadlines.

Your Background

• 3+ years experience from any combination of the following:
  College degree
• Professional experience in a consulting environment
• Professional experience in the food & beverage industry

Hours & Location

• Hours: This role is full time (40 hours per week)
• Location: Hybrid, based at our New York City office located at Quest Workspaces (48 Wall St.)

Compensation

this position is: salaried, varies DOE, $67,000.00 - $75,000.00
