Job description
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef De Cuisine to lead our culinary team and working closely with chef Efrén. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes, and maintaining exceptional standards of food safety and presentation. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a culinary professional with strong leadership skills to contribute to a vibrant hospitality environment. The Chef De Cuisine will play a pivotal role in shaping the menu, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction through outstanding food service.
Duties
-Lead and supervise the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
-Oversee food production, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met.
-Develop menus in collaboration with executive chef Efrén.
-Manage food preparation processes, including cooking, plating, and garnishing of dishes.
-Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen.
-Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control efficiently.
-Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and professional development.
-Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
-Maintain a high standard of hospitality by ensuring all dishes meet customer expectations and dietary requirements are accommodated.

Pay for the position is 75k/year with 2 weeks paid vacation after 3 months and health insurance after 6 months.
Compensation
