Position: Full-Time Private Farm-to-Table Chef
Location: Manhattan, NY (primary residence), with seasonal travel to Upstate New York and Costa Rica
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate chef to prepare nourishing, balanced meals for our family of four (two adults and two young children). This is a full-time position - based in New York between the city and Rhinebeck for most of the year. The ideal candidate will be open to travel (a few winter months in Costa Rica) flexibility and an easy flowing energy are key.
** Nutrition training and interest in exploring Ayurvedic principles is a PLUS **
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare daily meals with seasonal ingredients
- Create balanced, seasonal menus that support the health and wellbeing of the entire family, including child-friendly meals
- With notice, catering dinner parties
- Manage grocery shopping, ingredient sourcing, and kitchen inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen workspace
- Travel with the family seasonally to our Upstate New York home (summer months) and Costa Rica home (winter season)
Required Qualifications:
- 4 years minimum experience
- Open mindset is key - looking for the right energetic fit
- Flexibility to travel and adapt to different kitchen environments
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Driver’s license required required to fulfill job duties

Compensation
this position is: salaried, varies DOE, $90,000.00 - $125,000.00
