Company description
Buck & Bloom Cheese Co. was established in July of 2025. We make artisan cow and goat cheeses in Buena Vista, CO. With a personal background in small-scale organic agriculture, we are especially invested in the practices that our milk producers follow. Our milk comes from two different family farms in Colorado who work closely with their medium-sized herds every day, ensuring best practices and animals that are treated with dignity and care.
We haul milk back to our creamery in BV each week where the raw milk undergoes a low-temp vat pasteurization, and then is made into a variety of delicious cheeses. Diversity is our signature, and we produce over a dozen varieties of artisan cheese including chevre, feta, bloomy Camembert-style cheeses, and aged cheeses that ripen underground in a passively-cooled cheese cave.
Our mission is to bring the highest quality cheeses to our home state of Colorado, starting with the best possible milk we can buy, while bolstering the economy of small-scale, sustainable animal dairying. We strive to build cheese enthusiasts in our customers and get them acquainted with where there food comes from.
We are passionate about the local food movement and are excited to be connecting the dots between family farms and Colorado families who appreciate food made with care.
